Bio (English)

Nancy is a singer and songwriter interested in sharing a message of love through writing and singing songs that speak of hope, justice and new beginnings. Nancy tries to combine artivism (activism+art) with worship music, as she feels God’s love is the foundation for any social justice movement. Nancy has lived in the U.S-Mexico borderlands all her life, and because of this background, Nancy has a deep passion for immigrant and refugee rights. Nancy has two albums: Mi Presente (My Present) and Migrant Wings. Nancy believes that music is a tremendously effective peacebuilding tool that can transcend political and ideological borders; bridges of understanding rise through the empathy that music generates.

Biografia 

Nancy es una cantautora interesada en compartir un mensaje de amor a traves de escribir y cantar canciones que hablan de esperanza, justicia, y nuevos comienzos. Nancy intenta combinar el artivismo (Activismo+Arte) con musica de alabanza y adoracion, ya que cree que Dios es el fundamento para cualquier moviemiento social. Nancy ha vivido en la frontera de Mexico y Estados Unidos toda su vida, y por este contexto, Nancy tiene un gran sentir por los derechos de los migrantes y refugiados. Nancy tiene dos albums: Mi Presente (2015) y Alas Migrantes (2017). Nancy piensa que la musica es una herramiento muy efectiva para construir paz, pues la musica puede trascender fronteras politicas e ideologicas; puentes de entendimiento surgen a traves de la empatia que es generada por la musica.
